Background[]
The shorter "To Be Great" phác thảo was leaked in early 2012,[1] this version ending prior đồ sộ the bridge, despite Marina usually including one and a final chorus in her songs.
Nearly a decade later, in late 2020, a "To Become Great" phác thảo leaked,[2] initially unofficially teased over Discord in 2019 as a "final version". This version features an instrumental bridge, with additional, though unmixed, backing vocals and harmonies. Unusually, the last chorus however is the same as the pre-bridge choruses, despite Marina's final choruses tending đồ sộ feature additional instrumentation or vocals.
It is unknown which version of the tuy vậy was first recorded.

The tuy vậy was registered once on ASCAP/BMI[3] and registry site GEMA,[4] with Greg Kurstin credited as a co-writer.
Miss Y is under registration status "2", which indicates a work not able đồ sộ be distributed. Therefore, it is possible no "final" version exists, as Marina moved on from die Life đồ sộ Electra Heart.
