A. Dạng V_ing.

1. Cách sử dụng

• V_ing là công ty ngữ của câu: Dancing bored him.
• V_ing là xẻ ngữ của động từ: Her hobby is painting.
• V_ing là xẻ ngữ: Seeing is believing.
• V_ing đứng sau giới từ: He was accused of smuggling.
• V_ing sau đó 1 vài ba động từ: avoid, mind, enjoy,…

2. Một số cơ hội dùng quánh biệt

+ Những động kể từ sau được theo dõi sau vì chưng V-ing: admit, avoid, delay, enjoy, excuse, consider, deny, finish, imagine, forgive, keep, mind, miss, postpone, practise, resist, risk, propose, detest, dread, resent, pardon, try, fancy.
Ex:
– He admitted taking the money.
– Would you consider selling the property?
– He kept complaining.
– He did’t want vĩ đại risk getting wet.

+ Verbs + prepositions: apologize for, accuse of, insist on, feel lượt thích, congratulate on, suspect of, look forward vĩ đại, dream of, succeed in, object vĩ đại, approve/disapprove of…

+ Gerund cũng theo dõi sau những cụm kể từ như:
– It’s no use / It’s no good…
– There’s no point ( in)…
– It’s ( not) worth …
– Have difficult ( in) …

dạng động từ — Ví dụ về một trong những động kể từ + V_ing

– It’s a waste of time/ money …
– Spend/ waste time/money …
– Be/ get used vĩ đại …
– Be/ get accustomed vĩ đại …
– Do/ Would you mind … ?
– be busy doing something
– What about … ? How about …?
– Go + V-ing ( go shopping, go swimming… )

B. Dạng To V.

1. Cách sử dụng To-infinitive:

Verb + vĩ đại V

Những động kể từ sau được theo dõi sau thẳng vì chưng to-infinitive: agree, appear, arrange, attempt, ask, decide, determine, fail, endeavour, happen, hope, learn, manage, offer, plan, prepare, promise, prove, refuse, seem, tend, threaten, try, volunteer, expect, want,…
Ex:
– She agreed vĩ đại pay $50.
– Two men failed vĩ đại return from the expedition.
– The remnants refused vĩ đại leave.
– She volunteered vĩ đại help the disabled.
– He learnt vĩ đại look after himself.

Verb + how/ what/ when/ where/ which/ why + vĩ đại V

Những động kể từ dùng công thức này là: ask, decide, discover, find out, forget, know, learn, remember, see, show, think, understand, want vĩ đại know, wonder…
Ex:
– He discovered how vĩ đại open the safe.
– I found out where vĩ đại buy fruit cheaply.
– She couldn't think what vĩ đại say.
– I showed her which button vĩ đại press.

Verb + Object + vĩ đại V

Những động kể từ theo dõi công thức này là: advise, allow, enable, encourage, forbid, force, hear, instruct, invite, order, permit, persuade, request, remind, train, urge, want, tempt…
Ex:
– These glasses will enable you vĩ đại see in the dark.
– She encouraged mạ vĩ đại try again.
– They forbade her vĩ đại leave the house.
– They persuaded us vĩ đại go with them.

C. Một số kể từ lên đường nằm trong cả V_ing và To V.

Stop V-ing: giới hạn làm những gì (dừng hẳn)
Stop vĩ đại V: tạm dừng nhằm thao tác gì

Ex:
Stop smoking: giới hạn hút thuốc lá.
Stop vĩ đại smoke: tạm dừng nhằm bú thuốc

Remember/forget/regret vĩ đại V: nhớ/quên/tiếc tiếp tục nên làm những gì (ở lúc này – tương lai)
Remember/forget/regret V-ing: nhớ/quên/tiếc đã trải gì (ở quá khứ)

Ex:
– Remember vĩ đại send this letter (hãy lưu giữ gửi bức thư này)
– Don’t forget vĩ đại buy flowers (đừng quên mua sắm hoa nhé)
– I regret vĩ đại inform you that the train was cancelled (tôi cực kỳ tiếc nên tin báo – mang đến anh rằng chuyến
tàu đã trở nên hủy)
– I paid her $2. I still remember that. I still remember paying her $2. (tôi lưu giữ vẫn trả cô ấy 2 đô la rồi)

Try vĩ đại V: nỗ lực thực hiện gì
Try V-ing: thử thực hiện gì

Ex:
– I try vĩ đại pass the exam. (tôi nỗ lực băng qua kỳ thi)
– You should try unlocking the door with this key. (bạn nên test xuất hiện với cái khóa này)

Like V-ing: Thích làm những gì vì thế nó thú vị, hoặc, lôi kéo, thực hiện nhằm thông thường thức.
Like vĩ đại do: làm việc ê vì thế nó là đảm bảo chất lượng và cần thiết thiết

Ex:
– I lượt thích watching TV.
– I want vĩ đại have this job. I lượt thích vĩ đại learn English.
